Granted college scholarship as outstanding engineering student 1967 – Gate City Steel – Declined acceptance. Working full time moldmaking job – apprenticeship underway.

  • Granted 4-AP military deferment – skilled trades critical to military technology – during draft years
  • Completed certified 4 year Tool and Die (Moldmaking) apprenticeship January, 1971- Nebraska – Reliable Products Company
  • 1990-2003:
  • Received extensive training with the late Dr. W. Edwards Deming – California (developer of The Deming Philosophy)

  • Attended intense, in-depth facilitation training with Linda Tempesta – management training professional
